Tatsuya Izumi joined Narita International Airport Corporation (NAA) in 2000. Since then, he has been assigned to various departments, including planning, design and construction and operation and maintenance of various airport facilities including passenger building facilities, heating plant, jet bridges and baggage handling system(BHS), and is now responsible for innovation promotion. Izumi's recent accomplishments include the development of fully autonomous jet bridges and a totally new concept of BHS for a new passenger terminal slated for development in 10 years.
