Sonia, is an Aeronautical Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), with a postgraduate degree in International Cooperation and Development and a General Management Program from IESE Business School. With over 20 years in the aeronautical sector, she directed J.T. Barcelona-El Prat Airport from 2012 to 2023. Currently, as Airport Planning and Regulatory Control Director at Aena, she oversees investment planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance, including developing and monitoring the DORA.
