Shamal has worked on all aspects of aviation policy for the Mayor of London, analyzing the economic, connectivity, surface access, environmental and airspace dimensions. He engages with government, regulator, airports and other key stakeholders in securing London's interests. He has spoken at conferences in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, Milan, Atlanta and Shanghai, is a graduate of the Universities of Oxford and Bonn and previously worked for the Financial Times in London and New York.
