Maxime Mahieu is Chief Executive Officer of SMART AIRPORT SYSTEMS, part of the Alvest Group, worldwide leader in Aviation Ground Support Equipment. SMART AIRPORT SYSTEMS mission is to drastically reduce ground emissions at airports through innovative APU substitution equipement and Sustainable Taxiing (the TaxiBot). Mr. Mahieu started his airport emissions reduction journey 20 years ago when he specialized a Belgian industrial refrigeration company in ground aircraft cooling to offer an effective alternative to the use of APU. In addition to his CEO role at Smart Airport Systems, Maxime Mahieu is chairman of Lebrun Company and member of the Alvest Group Steering Committee.
