Maurice studied aircraft and aviation engineering, followed by an honorary track of aviation management. He worked for an aircraft handling agency (Aviapartner) for six years and had various other jobs at airports.
Personal fact:
Maurice could have been an international rugby player but due to a serious injury that dream never came true.
