Marcello is an aeronautical engineer. He has a post-graduate degree from the aeronautical design department at Napoli University Federico II. He worked as a system engineer on the Ariane 4/5 launchers at Arianespace/CNES Paris. He has held several roles at CIRA – Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali: technologies project manager USV/VEGA; EREA representative at ASD in Brussels; program manager Clean Sky and SESAR; head of the Aeronautic Technologies Integration Unit; business development and cooperations manager; and head of international affairs and the Brussels Liaison Office.
