Juan is a lawyer by profession with a master's in public administration, an Airport Industry Professional (AIP) certification by ACI and ICAO, and a PDG in project management from George Washington University School of Business. He has been working in the airport industry for 35 years, specializing in airport operations, security and facilitation. Since 2011, he has served as the chief operating and security officer of Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José, Costa Rica. Personal fact: Juan likes working out every day and socializing with colleagues on the weekend.
