Jon has spent 28 years in public safety at DFW Airport. Starting as a public safety recruit in 1997, Director Taylor was trained and certified as a Texas police officer and firefighter. Rising through the ranks throughout his career, he was appointed chief of police in April 2020, and director of public safety in 2022. Director Taylor manages all police, fire and aviation security personnel at DFW Airport.
