John Ackerman

chief executive officer, Los Angeles World Airports
John Ackerman is the chief executive officer of Los Angeles World Airports and has oversight of Los Angeles International (LAX) and Van Nuys (VNY) airports. He has over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, and most recently served as executive VP of global strategy and development for Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he flew Harrier attack jets.
