Jodie is the global head of airports and travel at Uber. During her nine years at Uber, she has worked across all geographies and lines of business as the strategic advisor to the global CEO, as well as a hands-on operator as the general manager of Uber Eats in Australia/ New Zealand and the regional general manager of the Asia-Pacific delivery business. Jodie started her career as an emergency medical doctor in the Australian public hospital system. After completing her MBA at Melbourne Business School, she was a consultant at Bain & Company before moving into the high-growth tech sector. Jodie has held multiple senior leadership roles in the US and APAC, including general manager at Scoopon (a Catch of the Day portfolio company) and Thumbtack, a US local services marketplace backed by Sequoia and Google Capital. Jodie was appointed to the board of Australia Post in July 2023. Personal fact: Jodie is a proud Melburnian who enjoys the city’s rich food, live music, theater and art offerings.
