Ioanna has degrees with honorary distinctions in philosophy, psychology and political sciences, and an MSc in international studies, economics and marketing/European economics diplomacy. She has a diploma in air transport studies from Cranfield University, and a diploma in strategic marketing from Cornell University. She has had a 30-year career in the aviation industry, working for the Civil Aviation Authority, the Ministry of Transport, Olympic Airways and, since 2009, at Athens International Airport. Personal fact: She is passionate about aviation, tourism, Athens – and the art of tessellation.
