Carsten has been a police officer since 1998 and has served in aviation security since 2001. He is a national aviation security inspector, auditor, instructor and certified ICAO-auditor, and a team member of the Aviation Security Division in the Federal Ministry of the Interior. He has considerable experience in aviation security quality control and oversight; cooperation with and monitoring of security service providers in daily operations; recruitment, training and certification of security personnel; and aviation security policy (NCASP, NCAQCP, training programs).
