Bernhard is chief commercial officer at Salzburg Airport, overseeing route development and handling. Growing up in Austria with a passion for aviation, he began at Austrian Airlines while studying tourism, later working for Swiss International Air Lines and Lufthansa, including extensive international assignments. He transitioned to Salzburg to apply his global experience, focusing on strategic route planning, partnerships and a €105m terminal modernization.
