Ben has worked at the UK Civil Aviation Authority for five years and leads in shaping the regulatory aspects of aviation security screening capabilities. This has included developing regulatory frameworks for the introduction of explosive detection capabilities across the cargo, cabin baggage, hold baggage, and in-flight supplies sectors. Ben has over 20 years of government experience working in the field of applied counterterrorism science and technology. He holds a PhD in chemistry.
