On December 17, 1903, something extraordinary happened. Two brothers – Wilbur and Orville Wright – stood on the windy dunes of Kitty Hawk. Their flying machine lifted off the ground… and stayed in air for just 12 seconds. That moment changed the course of human history. In the 123 years since that first flight, aviation has evolved and connected our world into a global neighborhood, connecting people, places and economies. This presentation draws on experience from digitizing the world’s busiest airport – ATL – and serving the largest airline – American Airlines – as the technical chair for the $5B P3 that delivered the new La Guardia terminal B.
