Airports and airlines experience numerous challenges in connection with major events. Among those is the coordination of security arrangements for airport facilities and airline operations. As the FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics are scheduled to come to the USA, airports including LAX and HOU and airlines including Delta are going through a process of detailed planning to ensure the safety and security of the thousands of passengers who will be traveling to those events. In this session, senior security personnel from airports and airlines will share their planning experiences and the results in preparing for these major events.
