Airport design, planning and development
Marseille Provence Airport and Portland International Airport won Unesco’s Prix Versailles World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2025. It was said by the jury that “the mark left by (these) airports stems chiefly from their ever-growing role in international exchanges… Orientated toward operational, ecological and aesthetic excellence, these hubs convey shared values, culture or even a tribute to the past, out of respect for the legacies left behind by earlier generations. In the light of the planetary challenges facing us today, it is time for these expressive images of our contemporary heritage to be asserted as symbols of humankind’s internal dialogue.”
- Building sense of place by encapsulating the airports’ heritage and the regions’ history, people and climate
- Developing a super-performant environmental airport profile and working toward carbon neutrality
- Creating a unique passenger experience for all passenger profiles and destinations, rooted in local culture
