The expansion of Heathrow is the largest privately financed project in Europe, and in January the UK government gave the green light for proposals for a third runway. The submission of Heathrow’s proposals will be the culmination of years of consultation, economic evidence, stakeholder engagement and local community liaison to deliver a robust scheme with integrity.
