Sustainability experts will discuss how the EU Green Deal initiative support sustainability goals within an airport context. Through this presentation, we will share insights from the initiatives that have been set up in the waste management and circularity context. Embedding sustainability and circularity within the terminal environment requires focus on airport business model, infrastructure, flows, lifecycle thinking, policy, procurement, collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Participants will learn what ambitions were set, what obstacles we encountered and what opportunities were uncovered.
