Noida International Airport in the Indian capital, New Delhi, was developed at a high-speed pace, with less than six years between the start of masterplanning and the commencement of flight operations. This presentation provides insights into the structure of the operational readiness program for a greenfield airport, the strategies adopted to mitigate related risks, and the execution of ORAT amid an active construction environment. We will reflect on what worked well, what challenges were encountered, and the key lessons learned to inform and improve future airport development projects.
