Schiphol is one of the busiest airports in Europe, both in passenger numbers and freight tonnage. Operating within a dense location, we face challenges such as limited space and a tight labor market. To address these challenges, we leverage IT and data solutions to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. One of these solutions is Cargonaut, which is the digital backbone within our cargo community. Cargonaut facilitates seamless data exchange for stakeholders such as airlines, forwarders and customs. This way, Schiphol enhances collaboration between parties, becoming a smart cargo hub.
