When embarking on the design for the new 18-gate Terminal C at San Antonio International Airport, the airport challenged the design team to create a sustainable, state-of-the-art, accessible gateway to the city, capturing the spirit of the Texas Hill Country. Located in a region with many facilities providing services and care for veterans and military personnel, Terminal C will set a standard for inclusive design. Follow the design process resulting in a landscaped paseo, a mercado-inspired shopping district, a performance center, vibrant art and a welcoming exterior porch – all creating a uniquely San Antonio airport experience.
