Beyond the dashboard: Data strategy and culture
The New Terminal One at JFK has the advantage of being able to implement new technology without having to worry about legacy architecture. This has allowed us to create a data platform at the heart of our technology infrastructure that has the ability to store information from all our systems and measure a huge range of KPIs. We will explore how we designed the platform and whether this access to data actually brings real benefits and insights to an airport's management and operations, and if there are unanticipated challenges in this 'data nirvana.'
- How data has been put at the heart of JFK NTO's technology infrastructure
- Why connecting airport technology systems has its own set of challenges
- What sorts of insights can be gained for management and operations through data perspectives
- What are the practical use cases for airport data consolidation
- The potential risks of bringing your data onto a single platform
