The HXT264 is based on patented HALO technology, extending the X-ray diffraction beam to generate an annulus or ‘halo’ to increase signal strength by orders of magnitude. This results in rapid threat resolution with minimal slowing down of the conveyor.

The HXT264 has been designed to work with an upstream standard AT or CT X-ray checkpoint screening system, becoming a combined system-of-systems and verifying alarms raised by the primary screening unit. The resulting combined false alarm rate is substantially lower than the primary screening system alone.

The HXT264 can be supplied as an OEM unit for customer rebranding and rapid integration with new or existing equipment or can be rapidly retrofitted to existing X-ray fleet (see our CT Threat Resolver product information sheet).

Open-source aviation security software, such as DICOS for threat management and Open Platform Software Library (OPSL) or the HALO REST API for low-level systems control, is provided as standard.

Electrical integration is via standard Ethernet, and the mechanical interface is designed to fast-track integration with 3rd-party solutions.
