New Simulator Training at Massport
UFA, Inc., a leader in airport and air traffic training solutions, announces the launch of a new simulator training program for airside drivers at Massport.
The program will provide airfield drivers with highly realistic training, enabling them to practice complex airside operations and communication in a safe environment. Using a digital replica of Boston Logan International Airport and advanced simulation technology, trainees will be able to develop the necessary skills and confidence for airfield operations, airfield firefighting, and aircraft pushback driving. The first set of drivers will begin training there this spring.
“The new simulators will allow drivers to get more hands-on practice time without shutting down runways, burning fuel, or using scarce controller time to teach safety-critical phraseology,” explained UFA CEO David Wolff. “We’re proud to support Massport as they enhance safety.”
When asked about PTE World, Jacob Harrison, Sr. Director of Airport Safety and Training Solutions said "UFA, Inc., is excited to connect with aviation leaders at PTE World as global air travel reaches record levels. Our simulation solutions support and enhance Airport Safety Management System (SMS) standards for airports, air carriers, and GSE providers, helping address critical training challenges, improve proactive airside safety, and streamline outdated training curricula. Visit us at Booth E350 to see how the future of aviation training is taking shape with our next-generation simulation."
