Latest Performance Data of Airport Attractions: iWall Driving Engagement at Keflavik and Nice Airports
Interactive attractions are becoming an important part of the modern airport journey, turning waiting time into active and memorable experiences for travelers of all ages. At PTE World 2026, CSE Entertainment will present the latest performance insights from airport environments where iWall installations are enhancing passenger engagement and transforming terminal waiting areas.
At Keflavik International Airport in Iceland, iWall was introduced to make the airport experience more enjoyable, particularly for families and children. According to Andri Ómarsson, Project Manager, Airlines & Marketing at Keflavik Airport, the goal was to combine fun with reliable technology in a busy airport setting.
“We chose iWall to make Keflavik Airport fun for everyone, especially children. Our goal is to make the airport enjoyable for everyone, and the iWall combines fun with reliable technology, letting kids step directly into the adventure, be active, and enjoy the experience safely and effortlessly,” says Ómarsson.
Visitors to the CSE Hospitality stand B406 at PTE World 2026 will also learn how the solution performs in other high-traffic international airport environments.
Another strong example comes from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE), operated by the Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur Group. Two iWall installations located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have been enhancing the passenger experience since 2021.
Strategically placed in high-traffic terminal areas, the systems transform waiting zones into engaging activity spaces that encourage movement, social interaction, and longer dwell time. The installations appeal to travelers of all ages and help create a more dynamic and enjoyable airport atmosphere.
The long-term deployment demonstrates how interactive attractions can integrate seamlessly into terminal interiors while maintaining high operational reliability and continuous passenger engagement.
Performance Data (August–November 2025)
- Total player sessions: 61,643
- Total gameplay hours: 1,251
- Average daily usage: over 13 hours
These results illustrate the growing role of interactive digital attractions in airports. Beyond entertainment, they support passenger satisfaction, activate waiting areas, and contribute to a more vibrant and commercially attractive terminal environment.
At PTE World 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to explore how iWall is transforming airport experiences and delivering measurable value for modern aviation hubs.
