The AFL 3.6 introduces a series of subtle design refinements that align the product with Gunnebo’s wider airport portfolio while preserving the proven performance of the AFL 3.5. The new version continues to integrate seamlessly with identity verification systems, including Bar Coded Boarding Pass (BCBP) readers, QR and passport scanners, and biometric technologies.

The updated model features a reworked front section with simplified geometry and a linear LED wayfinding strip. The aim is to create a sleek, contemporary design that complements modern terminal architecture, ensuring the gate blends with its surroundings while maintaining intuitive passenger guidance.
