REIDsteel designed, detailed and fabricated this aircraft hangar at Simpang Empat Bandara - International
airport, Batam, Indonesia.
The hangar contains 1200 tons of steel and is 165m long with a 97m span. It is 17.5m to the underside of the truss and has an overall height of 25.5m.
There are hangar doors on each side of the hangar and these feature 10 independently powered leaves on 5 tracks. Maximum clear opening is 77.5m at one end.
